The new concept of Information Realism in contemporary Art is analyzed, its objective to understand the fundamental workings of Reality, and similarities in its methodology to Science. This novel idea is an integral part of my new works produced for the Guest Artist at Fermilab 2025. Unlike other approaches to Art that are concerned only with aesthetics or obvious ideas, Information Realism reinvents thought, perceptions, the way we connote and denote the world around and within ourselves. The established idea is that Art is a cognitive and not intuitive process, whose purpose is knowledge and understanding of the world and not mimicry. Methodology of Art process is reflected in the core steps of the Scientific method. Multiple examples of contemporary Art pieces are used to support the narrative. Additionally, personal works produced for the Fermilab Exhibition will be shown and their methodology analyzed.

Through examples of personal and contemporary artworks I will show that Art is information based, does not mimic nature nor its superficial appearance, but through its methods allows nature to document its own phenomenon, which is no different from Scientific methods.
