MicroBooNE is the first large liquid-argon time projection chamber (LArTPC) deployed as part of Fermilab’s short-baseline neutrino program. The MicroBooNE detector operated for six years, from 2015-2021, and the collaboration, to date, has released over 80 scientific publications. MicroBooNE’s scientific program has included investigations of the low-energy excess events observed by the MiniBooNE experiment, measuring a suite of low-energy neutrino cross sections, and searches for physics beyond the Standard Model of Particle Physics. In this colloquium, significant new results from the MicroBooNE experiment will be presented.
