Lightwire Theatre creates magical, multi-dimensional neon puppetry-based characters with light, wire, and creative artistry. Features as semi-finalists on America’s Got Talent, and winners of Tru TV’s FAKE OFF, the group combines theater and technology to bring stories to life in complete darkness. Co-creators Corbin Popp and Ian Carney met in NY will dancing together will dancing in Twyla Tharp’s Moving Out. A connection was made as they discovered their mutual love of art, theater and technology. After coming across a product known as “el” wire, a lightbulb turned on and the possibilities seemed endless. Together with their wives Eleanor and Whitney, they began to create the neon-based creatures that that quickly came to life. Based in New Orleans, Lightwire continues to create and deliver innovative theatrical experiences around the world, and as finalists on My TFi’S, The Best Le Meilleur Artiste in Paris.
