A Quantum World
September 1 – November 30, 2026
Reception – Thursday Sept 10 3:30 – 5pm

Through a public open call, artists were invited to explore:

Why is the quantum world so hard to picture -could artists help us imagine it?

The jury selected 27 artists

Baykan, Behnke, Berman, Bretschneider, Burtonwood, Caren, Caruso, Celaya, Cervantes, Danielson, Diadenko, Ganju, Lincoln, Mendenhall, Nothnagel, Nicol, Pach, Palagi, Ritsma, Robbins, Sherrell, Slade, Sweitzer, Urbanski, Williams, Yordanov, Žanić

The quantum world challenges our everyday understanding of physical reality.Particles can exist in multiple states at once, and phenomena that can be precisely described mathematically are often difficult to visualize. These artists offer their own artistic interpretations, transforming complex ideas into images, forms, and experiences that invite us to see and imagine the quantum world in new ways.
