Probable Interferences
The works created for “Probable Interferences” attempt to go beyond mimicking nature or visually representing information; instead, they derive information through artistic processes. This derived information results in structural, physical, or logical arrangements that inform and form the final piece. Many works possess dual or multiple assigned meanings, presenting different views that interfere without canceling one another, ultimately amplifying the work’s depth. My goal is to demonstrate the ubiquitous nature of art and its ability to apply information to everything from scientific laws and mathematical constructs to social structures and consciousness.
Any complex state—in this case, an art piece—exists within a cloud of possibilities. It is through interaction that we “collapse” its meaning into a particular state. While each piece is specific, it contains many probable interpretations. This refers not only to the fundamental quantum nature of reality but also to the idea that our strongest beliefs are often just one of many equally possible perspectives.
