A bit of knowledge in electricity and physics, talent in carpentry and a boundless imagination to give life to devices that would make Leonardo da Vinci jealous (we exaggerate, but just a little). – The Press (Montreal)

One of Fermilab’s favorite family performance offerings returns to Ramsey Auditorium, and this time he’s adding science to the fun! Michel Lauzière is a multi-talented artist who presents visual and musical numbers of total inventiveness. Lauziere’s unique and original performances amaze, charm and above all make the audiences of the whole world laugh!

In the Science of Sound Michel punctuates his hilarious musical performances with short informative comments explaining the nature and the functioning of the sound.

While captivating the public, Michel shows that the “patentes à musique” he tinkers with can help to understand the notions of frequency, amplitude, resonance etc … Michel transforms every day objects into full symphonic sounds,.

“If you TIVO…record MICHEL to play at your next family gathering.  Trust me; you’re going to see something you’ve never seen before.  Amazing!  Absolutely wonderful!” – David Letterman
