Fusion’s next chapter starts with big questions. Join Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory Director Kim Budil at Fermilab on Oct. 13 at 5 p.m. for “Fusion: The Promise, the Progress and the Path Ahead,” a public talk exploring how far fusion science has come—and where it could lead.

Afterward, Budil is joined by Fermilab Director Norbert Holtkamp, Argonne National Laboratory Director Paul Kearns, Gauss Fusion and Bruker leader Frank Laukien and Oak Ridge National Laboratory Associate Director Joe Hoagland for a conversation about moving from scientific breakthrough to practical application, and how collaboration across science and industry could help shape fusion’s future.
