Next Generation Neutrino Oscillation Experiments
In the next five-plus years, three new neutrino oscillation experiments will be operating: JUNO, Hyper-K, and DUNE. These complementary experiments will explore the neutrino sector with unprecedented precision and detail. Most likely, neutrinos do not acquire their masses through the standard Higgs mechanism, as other fermions do; thus, it is imperative that the neutrino sector be explored with comparable precision to the quark sector. This talk will highlight the challenges, opportunities, and searches for additional new physics in these three experiments.
