Fermilab invites small, hub zone, disadvantaged, women-owned, veteran-owned and service disabled veteran-owned businesses to the laboratory on March 14, 2018, for the Fermilab Small Business Fair. The fair will take place from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
At the fair, enjoy a morning session of meet-and-greet, an overview of Fermilab Procurement, and tips on conducting business with Fermilab. We are looking for small businesses in all fields, including construction, services, fabrication and IT. Local businesses will be made aware of opportunities to bid for subcontracts for work on Fermilab projects and will be connected to key people at the lab who can guide them through those opportunities.
Fermilab generates millions in economic output for the state of Illinois each year and supports thousands of jobs. The lab is interested in giving companies access to its advances in technology and partnering with them to create potentially game-changing innovations.
The registration deadline for the event has been extended to March 9.
Application for the event is available online. Registration begins on Monday, Feb. 5, and closes on Friday, March 9, 2018, at 11:59 p.m. Central time. Applications will be reviewed for appropriateness to Fermilab’s needs. A small-business representative will review your application and send a confirmation email on your acceptance to attend the event.
