Community Project for the Fermilab Virtual Family Open House Feb. 10-14, 2021

The online gallery is open.

No matter your age, your creativity may be displayed in the Fermilab Virtual Art Gallery! We welcome you to take part in Fermilab’s online exhibition exploring particles.

Fermilab’s main focus is neutrinos; these tiny particles surround us, go through us, and may be a key to why we exist. Fermilab and its partners from across the world are learning about these mysterious particles through experiments that include the Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment, an international flagship experiment hosted by Fermilab.

Get inspired and create some art that could be anything that can be digitally photographed and sent in .jpg format (preferred size 72 dpi, 2500 pixels on the longest side).  This could include drawing, sculpture, mix media, painting, computer-generated art or any other type of art.

Interested to learn more?

A good starting point is All Things Neutrino at https://neutrinos.fnal.gov/. You can learn what a neutrino is, where they come from, the mysteries surrounding them, and why scientists study them.  You can learn about the Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment and the people who work on it at https://lbnf-dune.fnal.gov/.
